    Good luck.

If you start building now, you might also applying to YCombinator, LaunchBox Digital, or TechStars (to name a few). Since it's your first startup, the advice you may receive there may be very helpful. Let's just hope that your co-founder is a great hacker.

You guys might also want to check out http://friendfeed.com or http://ping.fm for starters.

I use both of those services and they aren't at all what we're doing.

And we are applying to a couple of those. Thanks :)

Weird. I look at the comments and the dude who commented before me has the same full name as me...what are the odds? Like I said on ustream, I'll donate $100 to start and see how you're progressing and will donate more as time goes along. You'll be great with this!

    Best,

    Andrew

So, I'm unclear. Are you raising money, but not giving equity in return for the capital?
  • RowanTrollope · 1 year ago
You should figure out a way to offer equity to your potential investors.
Aren't there any startups that have created a way to raise venture capital on the Internet through micro funding from individuals? If not, then there is an idea someone should execute on!

Umm, you cant do that. You have to be a qualified investor. Read the rulez.

So where did your logo come from? Looks familiar to something I shot out to you a while on your exonerated pr email. (hmmm) ;)
